BGSU Tuba Euphonium Falcon Club Success!

The BGSU Tuba Euphonium Falcon Club has been very busy in the past few weeks. The TBD Quartet (Matthew Brewton, Ethan Morris, Kyle Recker and Connor Remington) won the Chamber Music Competition at this year's Northeast Regional Tuba Euphonium Conference (NERTEC). The conference was held in Boston, Massachusetts from March 6-8, 2026. In addition, BGSU alumni and current DMA student at Eastman, Ethan Millington was awarded first place in the Mock Military Band Excerpt Competition at the same conference. The club also ventured out to Macomb, Illinois from March 19-21 to attend the Heartland Regional Tuba Euphonium Conference (HRTEC). The TBD quartet placed third in this chamber music competition. Former tuba GA and alumni Noah Laabs, won both the Mock Orchestra and Mock Band Excerpt Competitions and Ethan Morris (current Senior MUSP major) came in as runner up in the Mock Band Competition.
