Matthew Shephard Receives Multiple Honors

Matthew Shephard, an adjunct instructor in our online MM in Teaching Artistry degree and director of bands at Meridan (MI) High School, recently received two honors. Mr. Shephard was named one of 15 national recipients of the 2025 Country Music Association Music Teacher of Excellence Award. He is also, for the fifth consecutive year, a semifinalist for the GRAMMY Music Educator of the Year Award.
