Luca Albano (BM '26) Selected as Ambassador of Sicily International Piano Festival to Participate in Special Masterclasses in Medellin, Colombia

Piano student Luca Albano (BM ‘26) is selected as the Sicily International Music Festival Ambassador with a full scholarship to participate in the EAFIT Curso de Perfeccionamie in Medellin, Colombia on December 1-5. This is a special scholarship in honor of Luca's outstanding performance at the Sicily International Piano Festival in July, 2024.

Luca was born in Rome, Italy in 2004, and started his piano studies there in 2008. Now a student at BGSU since 2022, he is majoring in classical piano performance and minoring in jazz studies with Dr. Solungga Liu and Professor Ariel Kasler respectively. He is passionate for music and wishes to enjoy it with students, peers and colleagues in the future.
