BGSU Master's Student wins CAMPground Call for Scores

BGSU master's student and composer Orson Abram (@orsonaabram on Instagram) was selected among four composers for the Contemporary Art Music Festival (CAMP) CAMPground26 A Little House Music call for proposals this year! Orson will be creating a sound installation that transforms mundane noise of a house into an interdisciplinary work under the guidance of project director Anthony R. Green and CAMP president Eunmi Ko.
The project will premiere at the final concert of CAMP's annual new music festival, CAMPground26, which will take place March 5-7, 2026, in Tampa, Florida. The festival will feature multiple world premieres and 20-25 compositions. Founded in 2021, the Contemporary Art Music Project (CAMP) promotes innovative art music through collaboration with living composers and performing artists from around the world. CAMP presents a wide range of programming, including commissioning projects, educational institutes, podcasts, and concerts.
