Graduate School of Teaching and Learning Assistantships/Scholarships
What is a scholarship?
A scholarship provides graduate students the opportunity to pursue an advanced degree. Candidates complete an application process for the competitive scholarships that are awarded for full-time study. The scholarship pays for the majority of the instructional fees while scholarship winners are expected to pay all fees. Graduate students may also apply to receive a stipend for working approximately 20 hours per week at the university while pursuing the degree. This competitive opportunity is available through BGSU's School of Teaching and Learning (STL). Those who are awarded a scholarship attend the face-to-face Summer Literacy Institute May-August) and Graduate Student Orientation (August). Applications are due January 15.
