National Retail Federation Student Association

The NRF Student Association's main goal is to prepare members for their future careers. Students are able to explore diverse career paths within the retail industry and receive exclusive educational and employment opportunities through the NRF Foundation. Meetings that BGSU's chapter holds include workshops for resumes, LinkedIn profiles, mock interviews, elevator speeches, and what/what not to wear in different professional situations. They also offer opportunities for students to volunteer at the Glenwood Giving Store and Jean Drive. Students have the opportunity to attend the NRF's Student Program annual conference in New York City at a discounted rate. In 2014 the FMPD Association was formed. In 2015, the FMPD Association evolved into the NRFSA and has been an organization on BGSU's campus ever since then.

This annual event offers world-class educational sessions with industry leaders, access to top retail CEOs, and a networking session with recruiters from major retail companies.
