Bio

Rachel Krieger is a digital media artist and a proud BGSU alumni. She graduated with a BFA in Digital Arts in the spring of 2023, focusing on animation and photography. She then graduated with her MFA in Digital Arts in the summer of 2025, with a focus on interactive media. She worked with both immersive experiences and video game production during her studies. Her master's thesis was a successful solo exhibition titled Transfiguratio. The subject of her work focuses on the association between birds and the afterlife across many cultures throughout centuries of human history. She studies various birds through active fieldwork and working relationships with ornithologists and fellow nature-based artists, and studies interactive experiences through video games and gallery shows. Her work remains heavily diversified across many mediums within her discipline.
