Transportation
The Goal:
"In the transportation area, BGSU’s overall goal is to reduce emissions by eventually moving towards a more sustainable fleet of vehicles that are used less, while at the same time reducing emissions from commuting, especially in single occupancy vehicles, and expanding the use of sustainable mass transportation."

The new conversion will reduce the busses carbon footprint by 24%, furthering BGSU’s Climate Action Plan. Propane fuel is more economical, saving money for both BGSU and its students!
BGSU Shuttle is free for students to use in order to reduce the number of cars on the road. Shuttles stop at Kroger, Wood County Hospital, BG High School, and other locations.

Continuing with the Office of Sustainability’s transportation initiative, BGSU University Libraries has provided two Dero bike FixIt stations courtesy of the Friends of the University Libraries. These stations are free to the campus community. Use the QR code on the station to access bike repair instructions.
