Dr. Driskell is an artist, scholar and emeritus professor at the University of Maryland, College Park. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Catholic University, nine Honorary Doctoral degrees, and is the ground-breaking author of numerous books including "Two Centuries of African American Art" and "Harlem Renaissance: Black Artists in America."
