Areas of Research / Areas of Focus
For her MFA research, Ms. Young explored the link between seeing and belief; her thesis exhibition included digital mixed media and video installations. She continues this theme in much of her current work, comprising traditional painting and drawing, digital photography, glitch art, web art and poetry. A recent focus of her research is the aesthetic connection between the language of poetry and computer code. She has exhibited her work regionally, nationally and internationally. Ms. Young also has over 25 years’ experience as a web and graphic designer, and continues this work in a freelance capacity.
