My research interests are in intercultural and mass-mediated communication. Specifically, my research focuses on how individuals' direct and mass-mediated intercultural contact experiences influence their attitudes toward other social or cultural group members. I am also interested in examining communication theories from non-Western perspectives and testing them in diverse cultural contexts.
