Welcome to Bowling Green State University

Our goal at Parking Services is to provide you with the best parking options while you're on campus. We're here to assist with all your parking needs for your event, as each guest and event is important to us.

Parking Information:

• Monday to Friday: A parking permit or payment is required from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Saturday: The Bowen-Thompson Student Union (Lot 7) requires payment from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. No permits or payment are required in other lots (except Lot 7) from 7:30 PM Friday until Monday at 7:00 AM. Lot 7A is reserved for Admissions guests only until 4pm.
  
• Saturday and Sunday: With the exception of Lot 7, no permit or payment is required to park on campus from Friday at 7:30 PM until Monday at 7:00 AM.
  
• Some areas may be reserved for events or athletic events, with additional payment required.

At BGSU your license plate is your permit as all our permits are virtual.  If your vehicle does not have a front license plate, that vehicle may NOT back in or pull through a parking space. The license plate must be visible from the drive aisle. Vehicles must be parked in a marked parking space. Fire lanes, Reserved Spaces, and Handicap parking spaces are enforced 24 hours day.

Parking lot signage is at each entrance and has similar coding to the map, with a color circle behind the letter or number indicating the parking lot name.

The following parking options are available to register your vehicle to park on campus:

Departments and Groups: Departments or groups wanting to pay for parking permits as part of their event may request to discuss additional options provided by our guest and event parking system, Offstreet. Contact Parking Services as soon as possible to plan parking for your event.

Hourly Parking:

1. Available via the Paybyphone app. Android download or Apple download.  Cost is $1.00 per hour plus fees. Refer to campus map for parking lots where hourly/daily payment is available.
   
2. Payment made with kiosks located in the parking lot. Available in Lot 6, 7, 11, X, and Lot N.  Cost is $1.00 per hour. Cash or credit is accepted.

Daily Parking:

1. Available via the Paybyphone app. Android download or Apple download.  Cost is $1.00 per hour plus fees. Refer to campus map for parking lots where hourly/daily payment is available.
   
2. Daily parking permits are available for purchase in person at the Parking Services office Monday through Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm. Cost is $10.00. Cash, Check, or Credit accepted.
