  • Jazz group New York Voices to perform at BGSU Jul 22, 2010 12:24 PM Area audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy the unique vocal style and harmonies of the New York Voices when the a cappella group returns to Bowling Green State University in August. They will be giving three concerts, at 8 p.m. Aug. 3, 5 and 7, in Bryan Recital Hall of the Moore Musical Arts Center. The concerts complement the vocal jazz camp taught by members of the multiple Grammy Award-winning ensemble that week.

  • BGSU students helping with Lake Schools cleanup Jul 12, 2010 12:25 PM The rebuilding continues in Lake Township after a deadly tornado ripped through the town earlier this summer. This Friday (July 23), a group of 35 Bowing Green State University students will help with the cleanup at Lake High School.

  • BGSU art galleries announce NOWOH art show Jul 7, 2010 12:27 PM The work of area artists will once again be on display at Bowling Green State University’s Fine Arts Center as part of the Northwest Ohio Art Show (NOWOH). The exhibit runs from July 16-25. Show hours are noon-4 p.m. Thursday-Sunday with extended hours on Thursday from 5-8 p.m.

  • New York Voices Vocal Jazz Camp returns to BGSU Jul 6, 2010 12:29 PM Following rave reviews from last year’s participants and concert attendees, the New York Voices Vocal Jazz Camp returns to Bowling Green State University’s College of Musical Arts Aug. 2-8. The camp will once again provide a blend of the group’s style of ensemble singing and soloist virtuosity in both teaching and performing. The multiple Grammy Award-winners return with several new releases in tow.

  • BGSU breaks ground on new dining center Jul 2, 2010 12:31 PM Bowling Green State University students will be able to eat a little greener next fall. On July 1, the University and Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services broke ground on the new McDonald dining center. The building will be Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified.
