Dr. Rodgers joined the voice faculty in Fall of 2000, and currently spearheads the CMA’s new master’s specialization in Voice Science and Pedagogy. Her performance, recording, and stage directing credits in the US and Europe include American Composers’ Alliance American Music Festival (NYC), Moravian Philharmonic (Czech Republic), National Polish Radio Symphony, The Society for New Music, MidAmerican Center for Contemporary Music, Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival, Toledo Symphony, Toledo Opera, Song Collaborators Consortia, Kerrytown Concert House (Ann Arbor), Pro-Musica of Detroit, Camphill Village of Copake (NY), Toledo Museum of Art, Ohio Light Opera, Michigan Opera Theatre, Cincinnati Opera, Michigan Lyric Opera, Salt City Playhouse (Syracuse, NY), and other organizations and venues in New York, Michigan, Ohio and Ontario. Dr. Rodgers holds degrees from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and the University of Michigan. She was formerly on the faculties of Grand Valley State University, University of Michigan, University of Toledo, Adrian College, Albion College and Spring Arbor College. She is general director of the Ann Arbor Festival of Song, and a long-time member of the professional choir at the historic Mariners’ Church of Detroit.
