Research Interests: My research is in the area of exercise immunology. This includes the effect of acute and chronic exercise on immune function, diabetes, and aging, as well as inflammation and wound healing. I also do research in cardiac rehabilitation, including exercise and mortality, HIIT, and differences in how males and females respond to exercise.
