Areas of Research/Artistic Focus
Research interests include the history and practice of photography, specifically large format and the gelatin silver print.

Recent Accomplishments
Faculty Research Project Grant, "Building Strength" 2012.George Gund Foundation Fellowship Grant recipient, 2009, Toledo Museum of Art Artist Commission, 2003.

Recent solo exhibition at the Toledo Museum of Art, "From Start to Finish: Photographs of the I-280 Bridge Project", 2007. Included in the Midwest Photographer's Project at the Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago, 2003-2005 and 2006-2008. Participated in national and regional shows including the invitationals "Tracing Lines", Ohio State University Urban Spaces Gallery, "Deep Space", 2010 and "Growing Pains" at the Riffe Gallery in Columbus, Ohio, 2006. Selections from this travelled to the Cleveland Clinic, 2007.

Represented in public and private collections including the Toledo Museum of Art, the "Bridge Project" portfolio; the Cleveland Clinic; the Lea Gallery at the University of Findlay; The Southwest Center for Photographic Studies; University of Northern Iowa; Sterling Library, Yale University.
