Cody M. Clemens

Cody M. Clemens (M.A., Duquesne University) studies health, organizational, and relational communication through a feminist lens. Cody is specifically interested in studying marginalized and intersecting identities within the workplace and within romantic relationships. Also, he is interested in organizational training and how training can better promote not only stronger teams, but a healthier workplace environment. His dissertation focuses on the experiences and identities of individuals living with the chronic autoimmune disease, Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. His research is done primarily through qualitative methods. Cody was also the 2017 recipient of the BGSU School of Media & Communication Excellence Award.
