As an activist and an entrepreneur, Adam practices and studies the ways an organization constructs its own unique culture and deals with the cultures that surround them. As a theoretical framework, he is interested in the constitutive role of communication in organizations which can be grasped through empirical observation. Research topics include organizational identity, corporate social responsibility, collective action, and inter-organizational collaboration. In his 2nd year of doctoral studies, he has published an article investigating the role of media in the Arab Spring, and presented two papers on Faith-Based Organizations and Islamophobia at the National Communication Association conference, one of which received the 2017 Top Student Paper award.
