Blessy McWan

Blessy is broadly interested in discourses of political and social justice issues in mainstream media and online platforms. Her interest also extends to studying entertainment on television in relation to race and gender. As a student of journalism, she interned at India Today, previously known as Headlines Today, a 24-hour English language national news channel. She has cleared UGC -NET and qualifies for assistant professorship in India where she has taught mass communication and journalism courses at the undergraduate level for two years.  Her co-authored paper has been presented at IAMCR and she is looking forward to presenting at NCA.
