Resident Student Permits

  • Thank you for purchasing a virtual parking permit.
  • Your state-issued license plate on your vehicle serves as your parking permit. Per policy 4.1, vehicles must be parked so that the state-issued license plate is unobstructed, clearly visible, and readable by license plate recognition from the drive aisles in all parking lots. Backing in or pulling through parking spaces is not permitted without a visible front license plate. See Parking Rules and Regulations for more details.
  • You may register two vehicles to your parking permit at a time and those vehicles may not be active on any other parking permit. Additionally only 1 vehicle can be parked on campus at a time.
  • Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. you must park in the Resident Student parking lots (indicated in BLUE on the parking map).
  • After 5 p.m. you can park in any Commuter (RED) parking lots and many Faculty/Staff (GREEN) parking lots. We recommend checking the individual lot signage upon entry.
  • Reserved Spaces are reserved "At All Times", 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Disability parking spaces and parking in restricted areas (sidewalks, grass, loading docks, firelanes and the like) are also enforced 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
  • Pay to park areas are not included in your parking permit. You can park in these areas if time is purchased.
