BGSU shares important traffic information as spring semester ends

April-15-May-20

Construction of the I-75 and Wooster St/SR 64 interchange project has been progressing with minimal impacts to traffic thus far. However, in order to construct the rest of the bridge and the roundabouts on either side of I-75, there are now some impacts to Wooster St/SR 64's traffic flow.

Monday, April 15 through Sunday, May 19, only eastbound Wooster St is permitted over I-75. Westbound Wooster St traffic  is detoured using Dunbridge Rd to Poe Rd to Mercer Rd. This is to construct the southern part of the bridge over I-75.

Beginning with that restriction and then going through July, the ramp from Wooster St to northbound I-75 will be closed. The detour is Dunbridge Rd to US 6 to I-75. All other ramps will remain open.

Immediately after the eastbound-only phase, through July, Wooster St over I-75 will be closed to all traffic. All traffic will be detoured using Dunbridge Rd to Poe Rd to Mercer Rd. This is to construct the roundabouts.

For BGSU commencement ceremonies at the Stroh Center, please follow signs that will direct guests to the center from both directions of I-75. The University will also have signage directing guests toward I-75 North and South when leaving commencement ceremonies.
