WHEN: Event begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends with an hour-long concert at 5 p.m.

COST: $40. Covers dinner at BGSU cafeteria, snacks, parking and more.

8:00-8:30 Arrive at Moore Musical Arts Building Lobby, College of Musical Arts.

8:30 Registration, Receive Name tags.

9:00 On stage Kobacker Hall, Dean, Dr. William Mathis’s Welcome and Introduction of Elizabeth Hankins, followed by Announcements and Introductions of Faculty by Emily Freeman Brown.

9:05-10:30 Orchestra rehearsal. Elizabeth Hankins, conductor.

10:30-11:20 Sectionals: Violin I on Kobacker stage, Violin II in 2105 (Women’s Dressing Room), Violas in 2107 (Men’s Dressing Room), Cellos in 1012, Basses in Basement Computer Lab.

At 11:20 Everyone gathers in Kobacker Hall.

11:30-12:45 Lunch

12:45 Campus Tour

1:30-1:55 Cellos/Basses in 1040 with Dr. Elaine Colprit for String Techniques and Violins/Violas in 1012 with Dr. Benjamin Hoffman, Cueing and Ensemble Playing

1:55-2:25 Switch rooms.

2:30-3:20 Orchestra Rehearsal on stage.

3:20 Snack in Kobacker Lobby, bathroom break and change clothes to concert dress.

4:00 Recital, Bryan Recital Hall. Graduate String Quartet.

4:30 Warm-up & tuning on stage. Kobacker opens to the public.

5:00 p.m. Concert in Kobacker Hall. No tickets required.
