Officers

President: Karla Kunk

Karla Kunk is from Coldwater, Ohio and is in her third year of Choral Music Education. This is her second year in Collegiate Chorale and she is so excited to serve as President. Outside of Chorale, she is a College of Music Arts Ambassador, a Choral Scholar at First United Methodist Church, and a part of the MAP Scholarship Program. Karla is so excited for this year and can’t wait to see what this amazing group will accomplish! 

Vice President: Cassidy Vanscoy

Cassidy is a fourth year Choral Music Education Major, and this is her third year in the Collegiate Chorale. Alongside the Collegiate Chorale, Cassidy is an alumni member of Sigma Alpha Iota, an alumni of Chi Omega, and Music Director of Retrograde A Cappella. Cassidy is also a member of Ohio Collegiate Music Education Association; the American Choral Directors Association and attended both the ACDA and OCMEA conferences this past year. Cassidy is beyond is excited to be the Vice President of the Collegiate Chorale this year, and cannot wait for all the amazing things in store this year for the group!

Secretary: Amanda Simpson

Amanda is a third year choral music education major from Maumee, Ohio. This is her first year in Chorale. Aside from being in Chorale, she is also apart of Volaré and a member of the Thompson Working Families Scholarship Program. Amanda is so excited to serve as the Secretary for Chorale this year as well as serve on her first ever position on an executive board.

Treasurer: Annie Swanson

Annie Swanson is a 4th year music education major from Upper Arlington Ohio. This will be her 3rd year in chorale and she is very excited to serve as this year’s treasurer. She is a choral scholar for First United Methodist Church, and will be back singing in Volaré this year. Annie has previously served as Sergant at Arms, and now as Vice President Ritual of Sigma Alpha Iota. Annie also recently joined BGSU’s chapter of ACDA. She is very excited to see what chorale has in store for the upcoming year, and to be back singing with her peers.

Fundraising Coordinator: Kloe Archbold

Kloe Archbold is a second year transfer student Majoring in Music Education and Theatre! This year, she is reserving the Fundraiser chair for the Collegiate Chorale Choir. With a rich history of music and theatre, she strives to take the education route to further encourage students of music! Kloe is most excited for collaborating and performing on the Chorales tour this year! 

Tech Coordinator: Dominic Carlozzi

Dominic Carlozzi is a 4th year Choral Music Education major from Cleveland, Ohio. This is his second year with Collegiate Chorale. Outside of Chorale, he is a Tenor Scholar at Christ The King Catholic Parish, serves as the Music/Ritual Director of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia's Iota Omicron chapter, and sings with the BGSU University Men's Chorus. He is looking forward to another year of great music and collaborating with his peers!
