Jacob Loitz is an aspiring saxophonist and pedagogue dedicated to the teaching and performing of new music. He is interested most by the works of living composers, and seeks to find new works and continue developing the classical saxophone's repertoire. Equally at home in performing, teaching, and learning, Jacob is constantly engaged in teaching and performance opportunities in his area, and is always excited to learn more about the aesthetics of new saxophone music, having participated in masterclasses with some of the greatest representatives in the new music world.

Hannah Zaborski is a pianist from Toledo, Ohio. She began her studies at age 6 and received her BM in Piano Performance from BGSU in 2024, where she is pursuing graduate studies under Dr. Solungga Liu.  Hannah is an active performer and has given several solo and collaborative recitals- most recent being a performance of the complete song cycle “Die schöne Müllerin.” As a soloist, she has a special interest in studying contemporary music. Alongside performing, Hannah is passionate about teaching and maintains a private studio of elementary and middle-school students.

Luca Albano was born in Rome, Italy in 2004, and started his piano studies there in 2008. Since then, he and his family moved to Rochester, NY, where he spent 9 years studying classical piano with Mrs. Harriet Zimmerman in the pre-collegiate program at the Eastman Community Music School. As a student at BGSU since 2022, Luca majors in classical piano performance and minors in jazz studies with Dr. Solungga Liu and Professor Ariel Kasler respectively. He is passionate for music and wishes to enjoy it with students, peers and colleagues in the future.

Aidan Peper is a saxophonist pursuing a degree in Music Education (anticipated Bachelor of Music Education in Spring 2027), studying with Distinguished Artist Professor Dr. John Sampen. Hailing from Bowling Green, Aidan performed in the Bowling Green Area Community Band and BiG Band BG prior to attending BGSU. He has also performed in a number of high school honors ensembles, most notably as the principal saxophone of the 2023 OMEA All State Band. Now at BGSU, he currently performs in the BGSU Wind Symphony, Ivy Saxophone Quartet, BG Saxophone Club, and the Falcon Marching Band. Upon starting at BGSU, Aidan was awarded the prestigious Hansen Fellowship, a generous endowment that supports the professional development of three select incoming freshmen. During his first year, he won 1st place in the 2024 Douglas Wayland Chamber Music Competition with the Early Bird Saxophone Quartet. In addition to performing, he also teaches young musicians from the Toledo Public Schools as part of the Music Plus Program. He represents the College of Musical Arts as a Music Ambassador, a role that helps to recruit new music students for BGSU. This will be Aidan’s fourth time performing as a featured soloist and his first time performing with an orchestra.
