BGSU Club Hockey
The BGSU Ice Arena is home to the BGSU Club Hockey team. The team is composed of students who still want to play hockey competitively while working towards a college degree. In 2010, the organization advanced to the ACHA DII National Tournament for the first time in club history. The team has advanced to regional play for the past 4 years in row. The club team is organized and run entirely by BGSU students through Recreation and Wellness Sport Clubs.
High School Hockey
The BGSU Ice Arena is home to the Bowling Green High School Bobcat Hockey team. As six time State Champions, the Bobcat’s are part of the rich hockey tradition in the Bowling Green community. Additional local high school teams also promote the strong local hockey culture by calling the BGSU Ice Arena home. Games are often held Friday evenings through Sunday afternoons during the high school hockey season (November – February).
