Deciding Students and Major Changes

Students who are not initially in the forensic science major or pre-forensic science program:

  • Students who chose forensic science on their initial BGSU application but did not get into the program will be moved to the Deciding Students Program and will work with Life Design. Learn more about the deciding student program here.
  • Students who are currently at BGSU and have never been evaluated before can contact the forensic science office to be evaluated for pre-forensic science. Please contact forsci@bgsu.edu
  • Students should take time to explore career paths potentially right for them while they continue to move forward with the required classes needed to be evaluated for the forensic science major.
  • Students will need to inform their academic advisor and life design coach that they wish to pursue forensic science as a major.
