Areas of Research/Artistic Focus
Durham is interested in the connection between the economic developments of the Great Depression and the outpouring of artwork by Americans that focus on circus performances as a critique of social class structure.
Recent Accomplishments
Previously, she taught art history at Cleveland State University and the University of Akron, and has also worked in a variety of gallery/museum settings including the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cleveland, and Case Studio Gallery at Case Western Reserve University.
