Biography
Dr. Melissa Miller is a Professor of Political Science at Bowling Green State University. Her research focuses on American politics, specifically elections and voting behavior, women in American politics, public opinion, and the media. She teaches courses in American Government, Political Parties, Voter Behavior, Women in American Politics, and Research Methods. She is a 2016 BGSU Master Teacher award winner for her teaching work, and a 2018 BGSU Faculty Senate Community Engagement Award Winner for her extensive participation in media interviews. Dr. Miller’s research has appeared in Public Opinion Quarterly, Political Research Quarterly, Politics & Gender, American Politics Research, and PS: Political Science and Politics, among others.
