The Center for Photochemical Sciences, established in 1985, brings together faculty, students, researchers, and other professionals in the fields of chemistry, physics, and biology with a shared interest of interactions of light with matter. Center members research, investigate, and develop practical applications of basic knowledge in photo-sciences to stimulate new technologies and business opportunities. We cultivate and educate students to become world-class researchers in photo-sciences. The Center oversees the only Ph.D. program in Photochemical Sciences in the world.
