Come learn more about our unique PhD program and center by planning a visit to BGSU.

We have organized visit days in both the Fall and Spring. These are for prospective graduate students who are interested in the PhD program.

The next specific Visit Day at Bowling Green State University is the Expanded Transfer Student Visit on Friday, June 12, 2026.

While the major "President's Day Open House" for the year has passed, BGSU offers several ways to see the campus during the summer months:

Upcoming Visit Opportunities (Summer 2026)

• Expanded Transfer Student Visit: Friday, June 12.

• Daily Campus Tours: These are typically available Monday through Friday throughout the summer (May 4 – August 22). However, keep in mind that campus is a bit quieter during this time, and some facilities like dining halls may have limited access.

• New Student Orientation: Starting Friday, June 13, and continuing through various dates in June and July.

Important Notes for Planning

• Blackout Dates: All campus visits will be paused from August 14 – 23 to accommodate student move-in for the Fall semester.

• Fall 2026 Preview: If you are looking for large-scale "Falcon Visit Days" or weekend open houses for the fall, those dates are usually posted in August.

• Registration: You can sign up for these sessions through the BGSU Admissions Portal.
