BGSU, PNC celebrate financial services center

BOWLING GREEN, O.—Bowling Green State University and PNC Bank, N.A., will celebrate the opening of PNC’s new financial services center in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow (Sept. 22) with a ribbon-tying event. The opening of the services center is part of the university banking relationship between BGSU and PNC announced in July.

In addition to the ribbon-tying ceremony, highlights will include remarks by Brian Bucher, PNC Bank regional president for Toledo, and BGSU President Carol A. Cartwright.

Grand opening celebrations will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today through Thursday, Sept. 23. The events will feature free food, games including the PNC Prize Wheel, daily giveaways and the opportunity for students and/or employees to enter to win gift cards. Branch manager Shannon George and the rest of the PNC Bank team will be on hand to welcome students, faculty and staff and to open accounts and answer questions.
