BGSU honors prominent alumni

BOWLING GREEN, O.—They left Bowling Green State University and made their mark on the world. As part of its Centennial celebration, BGSU recognized them as among the University’s Most Prominent Alumni on Friday, April 23, and Saturday, April 24.

Their accomplishments are varied and their names are well known in music, business, international relations, education and medicine. They include Susan Finn, the current president and CEO of the American Council for Fitness and Nutrition; Eileen O’Neill, the president and general manager of TLC, a division of Discovery Communications; Scott Clark, sports director at WABC in New York; Jennifer Higdon, composer and 2010 Pulitzer Prize winner in Music; Ginger Kathrens, Emmy Award-winning documentarian, and John Meier, the chair and chief executive officer of Libbey Inc.
