Annual Undergraduate Art and Design Exhibition

BOWLING GREEN, O.—Looking for some fun in the midst of a dreary February?  The Bowling Green State University School of Art presents the annual Undergraduate Art and Design Exhibition, opening Sunday (Feb. 7) and running through March 2 in the Dorothy Uber Bryan and Willard Wankelman galleries, in the Fine Arts Center. The exhibition will include a juried selection of art in various media.

The opening reception for the exhibition will take place from 2-4 p.m. Sunday.

Students are allowed to submit up to eight pieces of work to be considered by the jury. Missy King, for example, a junior from Perrysburg majoring in photography and ceramics, has submitted five pieces that she has been working on for about a year.

Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, 6-9 p.m. Thursdays, and 1-4 p.m. Sundays. Special times can be arranged for groups or classes by appointment. The galleries will also be open on Presidents’ Day for prospective students.

For more information, contact Jacqueline Nathan, gallery director, at 419-372-8525.
