How Do I become a member of BGSU Delta Delta Epsilon?
Membership is invitation based. By the last day of January of each academic year, the Chapter Advisory Council will review the roster of students for those who meet the requirements for membership into the Alpha Pi Chapter of Delta Delta Epsilon (i.e., the top 35% of Sophomore, Junior, Senior , and Graduate students enrolled in the BS and MS Forensic Science programs at Bowling Green State University).
The membership process includes an informational meeting prior to application. The chapter’s Executive Committee will formally invite the students nominated for collegiate membership into the organization to attend the informational meeting to be held in February of each academic year.
Following the informational meeting, students nominated for collegiate membership to the Alpha Pi Chapter of Delta Delta Epsilon will apply to the Chapter Advisory Council by completing the Membership Application Form and submitting a resume by the last day of February of each academic year.
Active members will be presented with the resumes of applicants for review prior to the election of new members. Election of members shall be held in March of each academic year.
The membership process includes an orientation session prior to initiation for all nominees confirmed by election. Attendance at the orientation session and payment of the initiation fee will be the means of confirming the students inductees into the Alpha Pi Chapter of Delta Delta Epsilon for the current academic year.
