Communication and Connection for Safer Schools (C2S2) is excited to partner with Rachel Wixey of WorkWell to offer An Introduction to Meditation for Educators and Tips for New Skills in the Classroom.
Learn and experience what meditation for wellness is and how it has great impact on our health and the youth we serve.
We’ll explore the effects of stress on the brain and nervous system and discover practical and accessible ways to build attentional awareness and skills to self-regulate.
The educational components of this series supports us in the intellectual understanding of what's going on in the brain and nervous system when we meditate, and why it is supportive. This element of learning is helpful in inviting us into practicing consistently every day.
