There is no better way to learn another language than to immerse yourself in that culture and use the language every day. In addition to being the most efficient way to learn a second language, living abroad introduces students to new places, new experiences, and new perspectives and ideas found in another culture. Through study abroad, students develop important intercultural competencies that will serve them throughout their lives.
