In an increasingly interconnected world, workers who can navigate different cultures, speak multiple languages and appreciate diverse perspectives are more valuable to employers. Whether your career goals include diplomatic service, international business, education, health and social services, translation services or environmental advocacy, a humanities degree in world languages and cultures opens doors to a range of dynamic and rewarding professions.
The department also offers minors in Chinese, Classics, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Russian or Spanish, as well as undergraduate world language certificates for working professionals.
