BGSU Language Certificates provide official recognition of your ability to communicate in another language about practical, everyday situations. By developing these foundational communication skills, you’ll be better prepared to thrive in today’s dynamic, interconnected world. The certificate will appear on your BGSU transcript and serve as a valuable indicator to employers, graduate programs, and peers that you have pursued coursework that enables you to connect and collaborate across languages and cultures.

After completing the requirements, simply request to have your Language Certificate added to your transcript by contacting your College Office, Centralized Advising, or the Deciding Student Program.
