Research Interests:

My research focuses on examining the relation between sleep, emotion regulation, and trauma as well as improving access to behavioral sleep interventions in marginalized populations. More specifically, I test how the effects of sleep disruptions impair the ability to regulate emotions, leading to the development and maintenance of trauma-related mental health disturbances such as PTSD. Additionally, I aim to improve access to evidence-based treatments for insomnia and nightmares through implementation in integrated behavioral healthcare settings. Lastly, I engage in culturally informed psychometric evaluation of sleep-related assessments.
