Alumnus joins USA Football’s board of directors

BOWLING GREEN, O.—Mike Wilcox, a Bowling Green State University alumnus and chairman and chief executive officer of Toledo-based Wilcox Financial and Wilcox Sports Management, has been named to the board of directors of USA Football.

Wilcox is a past chairman of BGSU’s Board of Trustees and was named one of the top 100 alumni. He also played hockey at the University and was a three-time All-American on BGSU’s nationally ranked lacrosse team.

“Being a former student-athlete and playing competitive football throughout high school, I enjoy helping young athletes get the opportunities to learn and improve,” Wilcox said. “USA Football typifies that.”

USA Football is the sport’s national governing body in the United States and hosts more than 80 football training events annually. The nonprofit offers education for coaches and game officials, skill development for players and resources for youth football league commissioners.
