BGSU faculty help Toledo’s Holocaust survivors ‘bear witness’ Jun 22, 2013 3:24 PM Six individuals, each from a different background but united in their common experience in the Holocaust, are featured in a powerful new documentary from Toledo, Ohio. “Bearing Witness: The Voices of Our Survivors” provides a forum for these six remarkable people – the last known survivors in Toledo — to tell their stories in their own words. The film will be broadcast at 8 p.m. July 5 on WGTE-TV public television as part of its “Toledo Stories” series.

The University’s commitment to both community service and to learning from it has earned BGSU a place on the 2012 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll, published annually by the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS).

New teacher preparation programs approved by BGSU board Jun 21, 2012 3:25 PM Along with University budget items, the Bowling Green State University Board of Trustees granted dean emeritus status to Dr. Linda Petrosino, who retires at the end of this month from the College of Health and Human Services. Petrosino has been with BGSU since 1986 and had been chair of the communication disorders department and associate dean before being appointed dean in 2002.
