If you are ready to start something new, you may register for any 1010 language course without taking the Placement Test! If you've had some background in a world language, language class might still be a good choice for you since language skills get rusty if you don't use them. Take the [online placement test](www.bgsu.edu/LanguagePlacementExam] for Chinese, French, German, Italian, Russian or Spanish to see which level to start at.

Already have some college credit for a language? You don't need to take the placement test to continue to the next level.
