May 23, 2016 2:00 PM: Undergraduate researchers reap awards, kudos
Six undergraduate students received glass awards on May 18 for their oral and poster presentations at the April 23 Undergraduate Symposium for Research and Scholarship. Also honored was Dr. Andrew Gregory of the School of Earth, Environment and Society, who received the Undergraduate Faculty Mentor of the Year Award.
May 23, 2016 7:00 AM: Class of 2016 Success Stories: Putting down roots at BGSU
Mike Bryce, a double major in music and psychology from Pittsburgh, founded the Roots Music Club in August of 2014. Bryce and other musicians met in 1002 Moore Musical Arts Center on a Tuesday night, and have continued meeting there on Tuesday nights ever since.
May 18, 2016 2:45 PM: Fifteen faculty receive emeritus status
The Board of Trustees granted emeritus status to 15 retired or retiring faculty members on May 6. Emeritus status is conferred in recognition of distinguished service to the University. Individuals must have been at the University for at least 10 years and been recommended by their department for the designation.
