BGSU student Abby Paskvan will take the national stage next Wednesday evening (July 20) when she performs “The Star Spangled Banner” at the Republican National Convention. Paskvan, a junior majoring in marketing, was invited to perform the national anthem by convention officials.

BGSU’s Early Music Ensemble recently traveled to Berkeley, CA for a performance at the Early Music America Young Performer’s Festival. Their program: “Fringe Music: Music from the Peripheries of Seventeenth- and Eighteenth- Century Europe” was performed in St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on June 9 to an enthusiastic audience.
