Fire Officer 2 - Online / Classroom

Description
For the fire officer at, or preparing for promotion to the supervisory /managerial level. 

This class conforms to the NFPA Standard for Fire Officer 2 and will give you the knowledge and skills you need to meet the challenges of being a great officer in the increasingly complex world of the fire service.

Special Requirements
Candidates must have completed Fire Officer 1, must hold a valid certificate to practice as a firefighter issued under section 4765.55 of the Ohio Revised Code (ORC) or equivalent.

Required Textbook
You must purchase and bring Fire Officer Principles and Practice from IAFC and NFPA, 4th Edition, published by Jones and Bartlett (ISBN: 978-1-284-172393).  Workbook is optional
