General Information

Confirmation
Confirmation of registration, class information, parking, on-campus housing reservation(summer only) and other critical information is sent via e-mail only.

Cancellations
A refund, minus a $20 processing fee, will be given for cancellation 21 days prior to the first class date. After that date, no refunds will be given but substitutions (who meet the prerequisite requirements) can be made without penalty.

Liability Waiver
Before participating in any activity, all State Fire School participants are required to sign a liability waiver. State Fire School and BGSU does not assume liability for accidents or injuries.  Some classes require a signed letter from your chief stating that you are physically fit for duty with no restrictions or other specific documentation (check individual class listings).

Transportation
Some classes require travel to off-campus training sites.  Students are responsible for their own transportation.

Parking
All parking on campus requires a permit and compliance with BGSU regulations. You will receive parking permit and other instructions with your confirmation. General information and maps can be found at: http://www.bgsu.edu/offices/parking
