Bowling Green State University (BGSU) is a public research university with nationally recognized programs and research facilities in the natural and social sciences, education, arts, business, health and wellness, humanities and applied technologies. BGSU is a part of the University System of Ohio and is an R2 Carnegie Research Institution.

BGSU serves over 19,000 students and offers over 200 undergraduate majors and programs, as well as master’s and doctoral degrees, through eight academic colleges. BGSU received over $19 million in research funding in 2024 and contributes more than $3 billion to the state economy annually. The university welcomes the opportunity to work with external partners.
