Walking competition pits BGSU against city, county employees

Represent your work area by participating in a walking competition between BGSU, Wood County Hospital and employees of the city and Wood County as part of the 17th Annual National Employee Health and Fitness Day.

The walk runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 14 at Bowling Green City Park, between the Kiwanis and Martin shelters.  In the event of rain, the walk will move inside to the Bowling Green Community Center.

Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch. Beverages will be provided.

Everyone who signs in and walks a mile around the park, either before or after lunch, will be entered into a raffle for prizes. The employer with the most employees participating (percentage based) will win bragging rights and a trophy.
