Alumna featured in Vanity Fair

BOWLING GREEN, O.—The June issue of Vanity Fair has Marilyn Monroe on the cover and a photo of Bowling Green State Universtiy alumna Kate McComb within its pages.

Earlier this year, McComb, a 2006 graduate of BGSU, entered a contest called “Camera-Ready Style “sponsored by Estée Lauder and the magazine. Women were asked if they had “what it takes to sit among the ‘style set’ during New York Fashion Week.” A panel judges decided McComb had the winning look.

McComb received two V.I.P. tickets to Derek Lam’s fall 2012 fashion show and sat for a private photo shoot inside the Metropolitan Opera’s Gallery Met.
