Northwest Ohio Resources

The Center for Archival Collections has an active newspaper collecting and microfilming program in nineteen northwest Ohio counties. To date, the CAC's holdings include over 650 titles covering almost 6,000 microfilm rolls of newspapers previously held by publishers, courthouses, and libraries. The holdings for each title range from a single issue to a series spanning more than a century.

Local Government Records

The Guide to Local Government Records covers a 19-county region in northwest Ohio. It identifies and defines each local political subdivision, describes its offices (except those of county government, which are discussed in the Ohio County Records Manual), and includes a comprehensive listing of all local government records deposited at the CAC. The Guide helps to define the originating local government agency's role in the creation of public records.
