Dr. McCuen completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2009 from The Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago. She has practiced primarily in the acute care setting, but has also practiced in home health, inpatient rehab, skilled nursing, and a head injury re-entry clinic. She became a Board Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist and is currently serving on the Exam Development Committee for the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy. She has been published in the Journal of Acute Care Physical Therapy and her ongoing research interests include frailty, and residency and fellowship education.  She continues to treat patients in the acute care setting and transitioned into academia full time as an assistant professor in the BGSU accelerated, hybrid DPT program.
